Our home boarding service is an alternative to conventional dog boarding kennels. We offer your dog a home away from home. Your dog will not be stuck in a kennel for hours on end as he will be allowed free run of most of our home and garden, just like at home.

Your dog will be having its very own holiday while you are away on your well deserved break. We will treat your dog as if it is our own, with lots of cuddles and games, making sure that your dog does not get stressed by his change in environment and your absence.

To ensure that his transition is as smooth as possible we require you to provide us with his own bedding, toys, food & bowls. As you supply the dog’s own food for the duration of the stay, your dog will not have to suffer the stress of a change of diet and as a result your dog will not suffer any tummy upsets that a change of diet can cause.

Your dog will be exercised at least twice a day for about an hour per walk, our walks take us through some lovely countryside in the heart of the Blackmore Vale. Of course we will follow your instructions carefully to ensure that your dog has all the exercise he needs. As well as two lovely walks your dog will be able to play in our large secure garden during the day. In the evening your dog will be allowed to settle in the lounge with us as part of our family. 

We regret that we are unable to accept aggressive dogs for home boarding, for our safety and the safety of other boarders. As such we insist that our dogs meet yours on a walk before agreeing to board your dog. We also insist that if this is the first time that you board with us that your dog comes to stay with us for one night so that we can make sure that your dog will be happy in our home. We do this so that you will have peace of mind that your dog will be happy with us when you go away on your holiday. This stay will be charged at the standard rate.

We are a fully licensed Home Boarding facility, fully insured in line with current regulations.
